The smartest age in life may be 55 to 60 – not in your 20s.
Raw cognitive abilities, such as processing speed and memory, often peak early in life. Athletes typically hit their prime before 30, mathematicians make major breakthroughs by their mid-30s, and chess champions rarely stay dominant past 40.
However, a new research reveals that overall psychological functioning—including personality traits, judgment, and emotional intelligence—peaks much later, between ages 55 and 60.
A study analyzing 16 key traits across the lifespan found that conscientiousness peaks around 65, emotional stability reaches its height near 75, moral reasoning deepens in older age, and the ability to avoid cognitive biases may improve into the 70s or 80s.
When combined into a single index, these traits suggest the mind is most balanced in the late 50s, blending experience, emotional steadiness, and sound judgment. This may explain why many top leaders and thinkers achieve their greatest impact in midlife.

Punya personalized framework/pathway untuk mengelola stres dan train mental resilience cukup membantu untuk mengelola stres dgn efektif.

- Cari tau coping mechanism yg cocok buat diri sendiri sesuai kategori, misalnya mild (coba short walk), moderate (coba tidur/istirahat), severe (cerita ke orang yg dipercaya)

Klo kamu masih:
1. Stres lg tinggi banget, kelola stres kurang adaptif
2. Pola makan tinggi garam, keseringan mam mie instan/snack
3. Kurang olahraga, walau tubuh gak obes
4. Genetik, soalnya keluarga juga ada yg hipertensi
5. Kondisi kesehatan lain, seperti ginjal/hormon
6. Kurang tidur krn sering begadang
7. Ngerokok

agak sedikit oot, tapi mau share ini.
aku setuju kita harus bekerja keras untuk mengubah nasib. tapi jarang banget orang paham kalau untuk jadi orang kaya sering kali kerja keras aja ngga cukup.
di buku “unfair advantage” karya ash ali & hasan kubba, ada yang namanya unfair advantages. basically ini tuh keadaan yang dipunya seseorang bukan karena usaha atau kemampuan, tapi karena kondisi awalnya memang lebih menguntungkan dibanding orang lain.
• kalo ortu kamu udah mampu, congrats, you have 1 unfair advantage dibanding orang lain!
• kalo kamu lahir di daerah yang banyak opportunities (misal gak di 3T atau di luar jawa), congrats, kamu punya 1 unfair advantage juga!

jadi ini loh yang ga keliatan dari orang lain. sukses tuh ga serta merta kemampuan, tapi STARTING POINT kita sebagai individu dimulainya dari mana itu juga penting.
