There is literally no way to consider moving from Utah State (a fine program with a rich history) to Cincinnati as anything but a step-up in the job market. And Utah State will be fine. I doubt the even drop-off and you’ll be in this situation again in a few years. Good problem

@CincyHuffman @UCBearcat92 I’m interested because UC hasn’t fired a coach over results since Tony Yates. That’s a looong time ago. Yates never coached again. I’d like to see if there’s anything “there” with him or if the UC job was just too big for him. Which will point at our AD if it’s the latter.

What Jai Lucas has done in his 1st year at Miami is REMARKABLE. The Hurricanes went 7-24 a season ago. Miami just won its 26th game of the year in the NCAA Tournament. That 19-win improvement ties the BIGGEST win total turnaround in D-I men’s college hoops history.

What I like about Calhouns defense is if you set a screen, you’re going to pay for it. If you cut, you’re getting bodied. That’s #Bearcats defense at its core. Nothing is free.

I guess per NCAA rules if you pump fake a guy into the air you can lean in and elbow him in the balls - the while the guy you elbowed loses body control and whacks you in the head, it’s a flagrant foul on the guy that got hit in the balls.
