I joined @gitlab this week! It was a crazy week and i got to know so many smart people already. It feels very empowering to be part of this great company and I am looking forward to my journey here focussing on the GitLab Values. Thanks everybody for the warm welcome!

That led me to travel across Europe (Stockholm, Paris, Milan, Madrid, London, Edinburgh, Brussels, Sofia, Barcelona, Amsterdam…): frankly I abused my family’s patience with some of these trips and part of me wishes I had been more selective with my travels… But it was good fun.

It’s been an emotional week as I conclude my time at VMware and wish my teammates farewell after 5.5 years. It’s been quite the ride. A thread 🧵
