Applying "indigenous" or "First Nations" only to post-1492 groups in the Americas/Antipodes while excluding Europeans from Europe creates an arbitrary double standard. All peoples have deep ties to their ancestral lands; fairness means using terms uniformly based on history, not selective narratives.
