Sometimes NFT projects feel manufactured for Web3. Then there’s @thebeaksart by @DKashtalyan ,a project that already had soul before entering the space. Looking at The Beaks genuinely reminded me of being younger and staring at one drawing for 40 minutes like I was solving a national mystery 😭 You know those artworks where you keep spotting tiny hidden details every few seconds and suddenly you’re fully invested for no reason? Yeah… that feeling. Except now it’s evolved from “cool sketch in the back of a notebook” to surreal bird creatures made by an artist with 20+ years of experience in graffiti, murals, dotwork, and insanely detailed illustration. A lot of projects today look like they were born from: “gm guys roadmap soon 🤝” lol But The Beaks feels like years of obsession, experimentation, street art culture, and actual craftsmanship compressed into one universe. The textures feel hand-touched. The imperfections make the art better. Nothing feels rushed or manufactured for engagement farming. It’s the kind of art that makes you zoom in, then zoom in again, then realize 15 minutes passed and you forgot why you even opened the app 💀 The best Web3 projects don’t just launch collections.
