In Thunder wins, he has been an elite two-way piece, averaging 18.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. He has also played 22+ minutes in 4 of 6 games this series, averaging 27 PRA in those games. The two misses can mostly be tied to OKC getting blown out early on the road in Games 4 and 6, which led to his minutes being cut short. • With JDub and Ajay out, Caruso should see a real bump as a secondary playmaker. We’ve already seen the upside in this series, with 5 assists in Game 2 and 6 assists in Game 5 when he was asked to space the floor, move the ball, and help keep the offense organized. • The rebounding hasn’t been huge, but he should have enough minutes to chip in there. Caruso is only averaging 2 rebounds per game this series, but if he gets 25+ minutes, the pace and shot volume should naturally give him chances to grab a few boards, especially on long misses where he is already operating around the perimeter. • Caruso has also been killing San Antonio from deep. He’s shooting 55.9% from three on 5.7 attempts per game in this series, and a lot of those looks are coming from the Spurs being forced into rotation. When SGA draws extra attention or OKC gets downhill, Caruso has done a great job spacing into open areas, especially above the break and in the corners. • He isn’t just scoring in the half court either. Caruso has 9 steals in this series and has constantly been in the right spots when OKC forces loose passes or bad decisions. When the Spurs turn it over or take rushed shots, he is one of the first guys leaking out or filling the lane, giving him easy chances before San Antonio can get set. • The Spurs also have to respect him as a shooter now, which opens up the rest of his game. When they run him off the line, Caruso has done a great job attacking aggressive closeouts with one or two dribbles, getting into the mid-range or all the way to the rim. He’s also been smart slipping into open space on backdoor cuts and ghost-screen actions when San Antonio’s defenders are caught watching SGA or loading up on OKC’s main creators. • Overall, Caruso’s veteran presence should play a massive role for OKC in Game 7 with two key rotation guards out. His minutes, shooting, defense, and secondary playmaking all give him multiple ways to get there, and we expect another strong all-around game from him. Covered this line in 8/11 starts this season including 4/5 away starts and in 7/8 starts when throwing 85+ pitches. Should have a long leash in this one with the Padres using 5 bullpen arms yesterday with Giolito making it just 2.2 innings. King has worked up to 100 pitches multiple times already this year and we think the Padres will want some length from him in this one. The Nationals have been an up and down lineup but they have no history against King which should give him an edge. The Nats also hold the 4th lowest P/PA in the league (3.80) which should lead to some quicker outs/innings for King. The Nats are a dangerous lineup without a doubt but we are trusting King who should be able keep them off balance the first couple times through the lineup. He holds very solid metrics this year: xBA - 75th percentile Hard-hit% - 79th percentile GB% - 79th percentile He’s been consistently finding a bunch of soft contact on the ground which can lead to quick outs/innings. If he can limit the walks which he’s struggled with a bit this year - he should be able to keep his PC manageable. Overall a solid spot. Padres could use some length. Facing a lineup that has little to no history against him that is a bottom 5 P/PA lineup as well. Everything points to King going deep in this one. Expecting this to close 17.5 tomorrow. MY FAVORITE MLB UNDER OF THE DAY 🙃📉 ⚾️ Brandon Young (BAL) U 17.5 Outs The Jays are VERY good against RHP this season. Young has been getting a bit lucky so far so I'm expecting some negative regression and this is the best time for it. My theory is the Jays will get to him early by getting on base and his lack of strikeout ability will definitely hurt him against this Toronto team.

Over the last 4 games, he’s averaging only 10.2 PPG and is coming off back-to-back games with 9 and 5 points. It could 100% have to do with the ankle injury he suffered in the conference semifinals and re-aggravated during Game 3 of this series. However, even without factoring in the injury, he’s gone UNDER in 12 of his last 16 games when attempting fewer than 15 shots against top-10 defenses. His usage rate has decreased in every game this series, and I wouldn’t even be surprised to see Dylan Harper get more minutes than Fox. Over the last three games, he has posted an 18.93% usage rate. Fox is UNDER in 12 of 13 games this season when his usage rate drops below 20%. He’s also been unable to score more than 15 points against the Thunder in 6 STRAIGHT games this season. While that has been as a reliever, pitchers with good stuff, don’t lose that stuff just because they are starting now. He’s worked up to 66 pitches in his previous outing and should continue to work upwards as I have him projected 65-75 pitches vs BAL. This lineup has been extremely K friendly for opposing RHP as 7/9 projected ABs have O a 21% K rate vs RHP. Books have his POs at 14.5 (-110) for the o which gives me confidence in the expected leash as we’re basically asking for 1K per inning. His monster K game is coming sooner than later, he’s too good of an arm, and at +money with this many projected targets throughout the lineup I’ll bite🔐

1U - Max Strus over 11.5 PA (1.93 @ Betsson) I do think Cavs stick with Max in the starting lineup. Brunson will be the primary on him, and he's a way better offensive player than Wade in guard-to-guard screens when they are bringing Brunson to the action. Do think he'll be heavily involved. He's also just a dawg so I expect Cavs to be fine with Max guarding JB, Knicks will try to hunt Harden and Mitchell a lot on switches and we saw Cavs conceding them to Cade pretty easily so the importance of POA defense goes down. Oubre just had a great (stat recording) series v NYK in this same role and I expect NYK to let Strus operate from the short roll similarly, do think NYK continues to hedge all Brunson actions involving Don/Harden.
