@zaxour Yeah the inductor had a slight whine until I swapped it. I was thinking maybe the buck cleanup on my genesis might help but wasn’t sure. Thanks. I may go recheck my plug adapters again for a ground issue.

@dethfactor I’m not sure this would help there because that sounds like a grounding issue. The inductor on the 32X can make a high pitch tone in some circumstances, but you would hear that independent of game audio.

Gauging interest - I've got a batch of 32X buzzkill power circuit replacements, as well as a double buck power circuit for use in Model 1 Genesis/MD systems. $15 for buzzkill and $20 for the MD double buck. I'll list them on ko-fi if enough are interested!

I would’ve liked to know more about crafting and kinda all the things from day 2. Also, is data running even a thing in 1.0? Maybe I missed it.

Just because it doesn’t seem to link up immediately doesn’t mean it’s not A blocker for something else. Also not including it when it comes online means more tech debt moving forward.

@Bricky It’s fine. We all wanted it to be a 9 and we got a 6.5 in the story dept. Which I think is fine, you made the comparison to the gears of war stories which honestly I always felt hamfisted and very predictable. This was similar, I’m just happy we got a SM2. SM3 will be better.

With the recent Space Marine 2 review, I'm wondering if the delivery of my criticisms needs to be changed: I still am not a fan of the narrative, but a lot of things are not being taken the way I wanted them to be and I feel that might be my fault in the delivery of them.
