I watched Project Hail Mary last week. I hadn't gone to the movies in probably 5 years but I was intrigued by the positive reviews. Very average film, predictable plot line, decent acting. Crazy how low the bar is for cinema (and art) these days

@breakthrough48 I was anxious for it to end too. It dragged on for too long. Felt like a hodgepodge of other alien/space movies. Interstellar (the world is ending bc of these natural phenomena), Arrival (need to decode the alien's language to survive), etc. Nothing original about it!

@deusexdividend THANK YOU!! I hadn't been to the movies in 7 years but all the positive reviews intrigued me as well. I was bored and confused throughout the entire movie and was overjoyed when it was over. Worst experience I've ever had in a movie theatre.

@mahasr199 I agree w/ having extreme accountability. But you can be on top of the world at 30 and be completely lost by 40. Nothing is guaranteed, life isn't linear, etc
