DAY 8 of coding to make my parents think I have a real job 🚀 target - become a full-stack developer 💸 earned - $0 (the Craigslist pizza guy is asking for updates) told the pizza client the site is "in final QA testing" QA testing means I clicked the button once and it worked so I stopped sent him a screenshot of my localhost:8080 he asked what localhost means I told him it's a private developer preview link he said "wow professional" I am a fraud 2 hours of pretending to know what PHP sessions are 1 hour of actual learning what PHP sessions are I now know what PHP sessions are I immediately used them wrong and broke the login page ChatGPT fixed it ChatGPT is my real senior developer. I am just the one who copies and pastes. status: QA tested. localhost. deeply fraudulent. further less 💪

DAY 7 of coding to make my parents think I have a real job 🚀 target - become a full-stack developer 💸 earned - $0 (the pizza is still theoretical) the database crashed at 3am I don't know why I didn't touch it I was asleep it crashed on its own out of personal hatred Stack Overflow had 14 answers to my problem, all of them contradicting each other the top answer said "just reinstall MySQL" I reinstalled MySQL I forgot the password again the password was "password" I am beginning to see a pattern dad knocked on my door at 3:30am because he saw the light on. I told him I'm handling a critical database outage. he told me to go to sleep. I told him you don't just go to sleep during a critical database outage. he went back to bed. I reinstalled MySQL again. status: crashed. reinstalled. further less 💪

I said yes immediately.) the Craigslist client wants a full e-commerce website he described it as "something like Amazon but smaller" I described it as "sure no problem" I do not know how to build this I opened ChatGPT and typed "build me an e-commerce website" ChatGPT gave me 400 lines of code I pasted it it didn't work I asked ChatGPT why it doesn't work ChatGPT apologized and gave me 400 different lines of code I am now the middleman between ChatGPT and a pizza mom asked who I'm talking to at 2am. I told her my senior developer. she asked why my senior developer sounds like a robot. I said that's just how senior developers sound. status: in development. hungry for pizza. outsourced. further less 💪
