@Randomuser9O9 I think it was also like wrong writer for the wrong book situation too Ewing is best at grand cosmic ideas and cates is good at emotional character story’s And like you could say those writers could work in theory but it’s different in practice

@dev_madhatter In both their defenses, the ending of cates-venom and ewing hulk are...extremly hard for any writer to follow on, as far as the basic hook of the serie's. But cates hulk was just not even remotely tied.

Remember when they did that Marvel/DC crossover event and one of the pairings was Jimmy Olsen and Carnage? And remember how everyone thought it was gonna be a slapstick buddy cop thing? And then the entire story was just Jimmy getting ripped apart in an alleyway?
