So happy to share @gabrielbgnn new portfolio! I handled the development with a focus on motions and interactions. Proud of how it came together 🥹 Check it out here : gabrielbeaugonin.com

My first portfolio is live. After years of building sites for other people, it felt good to finally take the time on my own, obsess over the details, and make something that actually feels like me. Not the flashiest thing out there. That’s the point. It’s about the experience, the flow, the small interactions. Big thanks to @dev_ya , who carried the development and did an incredible job. The whole thing runs on his work. → gabrielbeaugonin.com

Little detail from the portfolio i like a lot. The pages each have their own url but the transitions are seamless enough that it doesn't feel like changing page, more like one continuous thing. And every transition is cancelable with escape. Mid-animation it reverses, and once you've landed, it takes you back home. Small thing but it makes the whole nav feel more yours than the site's. Try it yourself → gabrielbeaugonin.com Development by @dev_ya

I am looking for a solid design engineer (freelancer or agency) who can take on a web project fast. Need someone scrappy who jumps in head first, no agency bloat. Ideally start today. Next.js, designing right in the code. Budget is $ 10k-$15k depending on experience. If you are interested or know someone who would be a good fit, drop your portfolio / past work in the comments and I will reach out.

This transition is almost like all other page transitions: A simple color swipe. But this website adds downscaling of the page before the transition. This communicates really well that we are changing places. Not just a simple swipe, but a change in position that's almost physical Small and gorgeous details by @dev_ya

Loved this fresh take on this common cursor effect. The stillness it creates makes it feel more interactive. When I stop, the effect stops with me. I love it. This beauty is by @dev_ya

Quick 3D scroll effect from this gorgeous site: Add a plane with a lot of segments. Ina shader, add a sine wave to the Z axis to distort it. Multiply the distortion by the scroll velocity. When the user scrolls it's going to distort, but when they stop it will lay flat. Site by @dev_ya
