2xko is really fucking cool

This isn't a bad thing and I did enjoy it, but it evoking an era of gaming that doesn't really exist anymore. Games like that haven't been around in close to two decades

When I say Gameoverse is Millennial coded, I mean with how it depicts games. It's definitely by people who grew up with Freddy Fish and the N64. We don't really have games like that anymore, with the exception of a handful of indies

Let it ride for at least one big tournament

Now that it's been a couple of days, my take is that it is extremely strong, but I don't think it should be banned for power level concerns yet. I'm fine with CB banning it for bracket logistics, but I don't think it's game breaking enough to ban for all future events yet.

@CDMangaka I'm ok with them banning it for bracket logistics. There wasn't enough time for people to sign up as duos this time around. I'm much less keen on bans for power level, I'm still not convinced it's warranted at this time

This is a decision that elicits mixed feelings from me. On one hand, Riot’s timing was not ideal, and for comp integrity, as well as to avoid all the bugs, it’s a good call. On the other, I feel like this encourages the player echo chamber that has annoyed me since last week.

it is interesting how street fighter players hate shotos but then also hate any other type of character that would have a unique playstyle

I get that Teamfight is stupidly strong, but its only been out for a couple of hours. At least give it a day or two before we start calling for bans. I'm gonna hold off judgement until after I watch TNS this week

People point out fighting games as being hard to get into, but I really do believe that the only roadblock most people genuinely run into is the fact that if you lose it is completely your fault.
