We're may be isolated from family and friends but are so lucky to have these fields and time to enjoy. Time to appreciate the clouds and Red Kites moving across a sky with no plane trails. Sounds of Skylarks and Blackbirds and tractors working in the distance undisturbed by cars.

@SmallholdersUK My parents had Jerser or Guersey house cow for years. We always had that lovely yellow cream and proper full fat milk.

We buy raw milk, hot from the cow, from a local farm. Buying 5 litres at a time, we decant it into bottles and freeze 4 litres at a time. This shows the cream. Anyone remember gold top milk?

@ChrisGPackham Chris Packham rather than keep dishing meat producers why don’t you look more deeply into the grain and veg growing industry. Significant amounts of which are treated with glysophates prior to harvesting. Have a go at Monsanto rather than our livestock farmers.

@JoannaBlythman @lizbonnin BBC should be ashamed of themselves as should the journalist. At the very least they should have highlighted the benefits of eating local, supporting British farmers thereby reducing food miles, rather than wasting licence money in this way.
