In Obsession, director avoided making Nikki look “possessed.”
“We were very specific. I didn’t ever want her to play possessed. I wanted her to play like a jealous girlfriend.”
Director Curry Barker encouraged the actress Inde Navarrette to “go home and make faces” in the mirror.
She experimented with contortions, different voices, and expressions to build the possessed/shadow versions of Nikki

when the store clerk sells him the 2nd “One Wish Willow” he literally tells bear, “ask her to make the same wish for you. i’m sure she’d do it” but instead bear is an idgit and asks his friend. Bear is a himbo villain and that is being kind tbh

I’m seeing Obsession takes that sympathize with Bear as someone who was “forced into this situation, just as much as Nikki”. But you’ll never convince me that Bear couldn’t have done more about the situation. You’re telling me he could ONLY go to Ian for help? He’s so stupid!

OBSESSION did better than Universal estimated yesterday, increasing an insane +39% from its opening weekend, not 30%. It’s the BIGGEST second weekend increase this century for a wide release.

Eveett filmimiz Obsession arkadaşlar. Son zamanlarda adını çok duyduğum bir filmdi sahneleri vs. ilgimi çekmişti ve gerçekten de uzun zamandır izlediğim en iyi korku filmlerinden birisiydi. Oyunculuklar ayrı bir parantezi hak ediyor kesinlikle. Tavsiye ederim kesinlikle.
