On this day! Skye Blue vs Hikaru Shida on AEW Collision episode 54 on the 20th July 2024. The match was stopped at 3:12 minutes in after Shida landed on Skye’s ankle leading to a horrific injury which kept Skye Blue out of action for 10 months. Skye during that period even questioned if she would ever wrestle again BUT….. She came back and fought back from this and day by day, week by week, month by month, She was getting back to herself. Being able to stand up again, walking again, working out at the gym, eventually running and jumping, training back in a wrestling ring. The psychological, mental, physical and emotional stress that came with it all she did it! She overcame all those odds! Until finally on the 14th May 2025 Skye Blue officially returned to the ring. Let her set the example that nothing is impossible! 💙
