@Ecmoy This reminded me of my least favorite filler phrase in tutorials and demos. Any form of "let's go ahead and ___" or "go ahead and ___". You can remove either of these from the sentence and you'll find it's the exact same sentence!

will never forget @heccbrent telling me early on in my devangel days "you'll find you have a filler word you fallback on regularly in demos." it's SO real.
mine is "so" 🙃
sometimes it's a punchy "SO!" and sometimes it's like "soooooooooooo"

Unfortunately, I was laid off today. I'll be looking for a new senior/staff front end web dev job soon. I'll put together a proper tweet for it once I've had a chance to update my portfolio and such. It was a lot of fun working on TwilioQuest, I'll miss it and my teammates!

@kevinwhinnery @coreylweathers This was our approach as well. Our compromise for them was the Gizmo Watch. It let us feel good about giving them more freedom to roam the neighborhood or be at friends houses independently, but they could still reach us and we cold reach them.

@coreylweathers We got our kids phones in 7th / 8th grade, when we needed to be able to contact them (and them us) in the field (sports, clubs, etc). Their requests started at about 7 years old though!

@devinrader Having spent 3 weeks on a feature and then realizing I could have done it a different way that would have only taken a few hours to implement. Maybe that's more bittersweet than joy :-)
