Where are Arc Architects and the general DeFi users? Do you know that Stablecoin Forex (FX) is one of @Arc usecases? Yes it is. Most of us know FX for quite long time. I personally started forex trading back in 2008. I used Deriv & Exness brokers (2 years before i came into crypto). Since those days, i was not okay by how i had only 5 days to trade; i was a student and only had enough time over the weekends. Imagine being able to have a total control over your funds in terms of: ✔️Self Custody(no need for centralized brokers) ✔️24/7 service instead of the traditional 5days on brokers. ✔️ Trades execution within seconds(Arc subsecond finality), Instead of T+2, where the actual exchange of money and assets happens two business days after the trade is executed on traditional brokers. ✔️Opt-in privacy that help users in a way that their trades aren't trackable by others which help prevent someone front-running their trades. ✔️ payment of transaction fees in USDC which means users don't have worries of looking for a different asset to settle the fees. On top of this, users have certainty over the fees. I know someone is there asking why wouldn't i use centralized exchange to do all this since some of them support FX. Hmmm the answer is i don't feel comfortable with Cex since FTX collapse + some insider manipulations. Do i even have custody control with Cex? No. I know you want to know how you would be able to trade FX on Arc, since a protocol is needed to do so. I got the answer! Circle @circle is supporting Hibachi @hibachi_xyz through Arc Builders Fund to build an FX exchange on Arc. Hibachi is a already on private testnet on Arc and i confirmed from a reputable source that it is going on mainnet day 1 of Arc mainnet. Guys, there are lots of protocols building on Arc you will only get to know when the mainnet goes live. Have a nice day
