Anyone else have days at a time where you just have continual face palm moments? Like, oh yes I’m definitely a human. Remember to be kind to yourself... because you are I deed a human which means face palm moments are literally inevitable. 🌻
It’s so easy for us to go thru our whole day w/ tense stomachs, shallow breathing, shoulders tight, sitting on the edge of our seats. 🌻So in this moment, let’s let your mind & body know we’re safe to BE. Take a slow deep breath, roll your shoulders & stretch your arms & leggies.
Quick way to soothe your nervous system & ground into the present moment:
🌞Take a long, slow inhale through your nose and fill your belly.
Feel your belly expand slowly.
Slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Start small. Overwhelm often leads to inaction or avoidance. What is just ONE thing you can do today to grow your well-being - physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, in your physical space?
The patterns we're living in are comfortable. It's uncomfortable, unknown and sometimes terrifying to step out. To let yourself be seen. To make a move. To show up and speak out. To create. To be more YOU than ever before. Do it anyway. You've got it, love.
You can be kind AND strong. You can be empathetic AND assertive. Some of us were taught that being kind and loving meant being quiet, timid, and not expressing ourselves or our needs. Let's start redefining that right now.
It takes courage to start doing things differently. To realize that what you've been taught and what you've been doing isn't working for you anymore. To realize that you are being called to practice & be in a new way. It takes courage. I see you. I'm with you. Keep going.
you deserve to wear the clothing you want. you don’t HAVE to lose or gain weight to be worthy of wearing that outfit. please wear that outfit. don’t punish yourself for existing.
Self-acceptance starts with acknowledging that criticizing yourself isn't a helpful practice. That it isn't serving you and that it's not helping you create the life you want. It's acknowledging that being kind to yourself allows you to heal, grow & take action forward.
Learning to be okay with the not knowing is a practice. It's a practice of trust. It's a practice of faith and one that I truly believe is so necessary for our well-being here.
