a very very serious note to the uranus community: I see a lot of narratives that uranus will do well becoz of meow, comparison to other runners, etc no, that’s not why it will do well. that narrative don’t last, and when dips inevitably happen, everyone will point to me (but I’m neither saylor nor jesus), and I do have a pretty important project to run, and I am just a community member here. the real reasons why it MIGHT do well is because there is the potential for many to enter uranus. focus on why the core community supported and held it all the way when consensus was that it was dead, or why I engaged in the first place: cause it was a gritty core community, had hilarious content, and potential mainstream relatability this focus will allow uranus to survive everything, no matter how big it is. and yes, no one knows meow outside the bubble we live in, so this cannot be the pitch. focus on the substance, not stressed out over worked cats. I can only help if the community stays gritty through dips, churns viral funny content, and gives me a lot to work with. if that happens, I can help. no community, no uranus simple
