@MTNNG, you're not beating this allegation o
B33JAY🪽@beejay0x

I just confirmed that @MTNNG steals data from their users‼️‼️💔 I’ve been having suspicions that MTN have been stealing data because of the rate at which my data finishes so fast even if I don’t download anything So yesterday by 3:52 PM I bought 11GB data for 3500 naira I put my phone on power saving mode so no app in the background will be able to use data I didn’t download or upload any videos and I’ve been using my phone lightly. I felt like all this wasn’t enough so i decided to download an app that tracks my data usage This afternoon MTN sent me a message that I have just 4GB of data left Checked the app and saw I used only 3GB from the 11GB I bought yesterday Now my question to MTN is this If I used 3GB from 11GB that means I should have 8GB left Why do I have just 4GB left? Where did my remaining 4GB go??? All evidence attached in the screenshots below👇👇👇 We need to call out MTN for these recent thefts as I’m sure I’m not the only one facing this problem

My company kept paying this amount until another similar company came and bought almost all the senior engineers with enticing offers and was coming for us the juniors,so the MD called us for a meeting and instantly placed everyone on 450k and 500k salaries(with increment every 6 months) He ordered cars for about 10 of the senior engineers left and started treating us nice immediately. The problem is lack of competition and lack of cautioning by the government.

If you're a bank account holder, you have an aged parent or you’re the next of kin, please read this. When an account holder passes, the bank will restrict access to that account. Before money can be withdrawn, the family has to go through court processes and bank documentations. That usually means getting letters of administration, paying fees and a long wait. But then there's a simple way to avoid that stress. As an account owner you can request a change of mandate on the account and add trusted signatories. For example: Signatory A (can sign alone): This remains the principal account owner. Signatory B + C (must sign together): This could be two trusted children or beneficiaries. In this setup, while the principal account owner is alive, they retain full control. If anything happens, the bank already has a valid instruction on how the account should be operated. If you prefer to add just one person: Signatory A + B (either to sign): This means either the account owner or the second signatory can operate the account. This option requires a high level of trust. You are essentially giving that person full access alongside you. The bank will only act based on the mandate on the account. So it’s important that whoever is added is someone you trust. This advice is just to put structures in place so your family can access funds without delay when it matters.

“Someone” is too vague. 20-30 years old: Find a very good job in a place where you can get leverage to buy assets. Get married, save together. The other option is to start a business early but know that 99% of the time, it will die but the experience will be valuable. 30-40: Start thinking of starting a business from what you have learned. Find partners, mentors, funders. 40+ Enter politics. Seriously, after 40 wealth is more about connections than effort. This is the time you cash in on relationships built over time. Wealth is about relationships and compounding the benefits of those relationships. No matter how brilliant you are, nothing will bring you wealth if you don’t build relationships. Friends have always opened the doors for me and recommended me to rooms where I made money from.

I was at a small networking event in VI last week and ended up chatting with this guy, Nothing dramatic just normal conversation. I asked what he does, and he said he runs a logistics business around Lagos. He’s 47 and he mentioned he started his business at 42 so I was surprised. I asked why he waited that long. He said, “Bro, I thought I was already too late. All my guys had figured their lives out since.” Turns out he had the idea since his late 20s but kept postponing it salary was coming, bills were there, and starting felt risky. One day, his office delayed salaries for like 2 months. That was the push. He borrowed a small amount, started his personal business. He said the first year was messy, but he stayed consistent. Now he processes over 100m a year 🥶

The HR of the bank where you work will tell you to save your money with the bank. Then when you save a good amount, or give people the account to send you money. Same bank will investigate your account and will query why you have such amount in your account. Please don't save your money where you work. Let your savings account be in another bank.

A Nigerian engineer once told me something I haven’t stopped thinking about. He said, “The day I got my offer letter from Amsterdam, my colleague reported me to HR.” I asked him why. He said, “Because I was about to earn in one month what he’d earned in three years.” Then he said, “And the worst part? I understood him.”

To criticise, condemn and "correct" in ministry is very easy what is "hard" is transformational teaching, travailing prayer with intercession that Christ may be fully formed in others and the raising of an exemplary company or community of believers that stand as a prototype for the whole. The former takes a short 5 minute video on social media, the latter takes years of sacrifice.

I was explaining this recently to someone. So let me just say this for those earning 1M+ from a 9-5. Your salary is too valuable to be funding your daily life. That’s the mistake. You need a separate engine for that. Put aside 3–4 months of your salary and build a simple, boring business, car wash, barbing salon, shawarma spot, wholesale drinks. The goal is not to “blow” or “scale” the business. It’s just to cover your living expenses so your salary stops carrying that burden. Once your survival is handled by cashflow, your salary becomes a weapon. Now you can deploy it into long-term plays. Investments, assets, high leverage bets. You stop thinking month to month and start thinking in years. That’s how people quietly build real wealth.
Akin Olaoye@akintollgate

📌 Masterclass. My dad owned a video club & my mom operated a small barbing / hair dressing salon. This taught me the concept of “Daily Cash” flow. You will find high net worth families operating bakeries, coffee shops & eateries next to portfolio brands in telecoms/oil & gas. Those are not hobbies. Those businesses are like wallets for living expenses!

If you want to experience real career growth, you must aim to Exceed Expectations i.e consistently go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results at work. You might argue that your employer doesn’t deserve that level of commitment or doesn’t reward you enough to bring that kind of energy. But are you in employment for your employer or for yourself, to build skills, expand your capacity, and position yourself for bigger opportunities? You cannot evaluate your career only from the lens of “now.” The skills, knowledge and accomplishments you acquire on any job are yours forever. You have to see the bigger picture beyond your current role and understand that the reward for great work compounds over time. When you build a reputation for excellence, it shows up everywhere in your performance and even more if you decide to transition into entrepreneurship. When you do excellent work, you are also top of mind for: - Promotions and salary reviews - Strong recommendations for better opportunities - Increased visibility and trust - Access to high-impact projects - Faster career progression You can choose to play it safe and simply meet expectations, do your job, tick the necessary boxes, and move on. But that attitude cannot position you in the top 1% of your career.

Genuine Christians need to get used to the fact that although Jesus seems largely popular, He is still largely hated and unbelieved. When you observe how many brands celebrate Easter with eggs and a "fashion cross," it serves as a reminder that many who identify with the Christian faith do so because it's the fashionable thing to do. When it comes to the real following of the real Jesus, narrow is still the way, and few have found it. Hopefully, we realise that Jesus didn't die and resurrect to be merely popular, Hopefully, we realise that the church's mission is not to make a celebrity out of Jesus but to affirm and demonstrate His Lordship and Dominion over His creation.
