No it’s a totally reasonable take imo.
You can make arguments that RE4R “improved” aspects of OG RE4 but OG is still one of the best games ever made with a style/charm/tone we will probably never get to see again.
Theres something to be said about that, it has something unobtainable, it’s a product of its time in the best way possible.

This might be an insane take but I actually think I might like OG RE4 more than RE4R now that I’m replaying OG RE4 I just love the art style, the campy tone, tank controls are insanely satisfying and well, the game was revolutionary for its time. I adore the remake as well tho
