The biggest issue I have with Ryan Waldschmidt not starting tonight is that he won't make his MLB debut in the purple Serpientes uniforms.

The Diamondbacks are calling up No. 1 prospect Ryan Waldschmidt. Tyler Locklear has been reinstated from the IL and optioned to Reno. Alek Thomas has been designated for assignment.

Alek Thomas truly was 1 of the best defensive centerfielders I've seen. He's been a big part of the Dbacks 2020's story I def appreciate his time in the desert over the last few years (especially during the 2023 postseason)
