Se qualcuno considera le 9 reti tra PSG e Bayern un eccesso, ci può stare. È sembrata mancare un po’ di tensione nella prima semifinale di Champions League, soprattutto se confrontata con la doppia sfida tra Inter e Barcelona dello scorso anno o con le tante partite a eliminazione diretta tra Real Madrid e Manchester City. Però, come sempre, finiamo per usare quello che succede fuori per guardare cosa succede a casa nostra. Perché quest’anno, e in realtà già da qualche stagione, in Serie A sta accadendo l’opposto. E non è più solo una questione di come si difende. In Europa, nella fase a eliminazione diretta, le squadre italiane eliminate che hanno incassato meno gol nella doppia sfida sono state Inter e Fiorentina: rispettivamente 5 gol subiti contro Bodø Glimt e Crystal Palace. La Juventus e il Bologna ne hanno presi 7 da Galatasaray e Aston Villa, per non parlare dell'Atalanta. Il punto è che oggi la Serie A è ultima per gol a partita se allarghiamo lo sguardo: tra i primi 12 campionati europei per ranking UEFA, le seconde divisioni dei top 5 campionati (inclusa la nostra Serie B) e le tre competizioni UEFA per club. Non è solo che si segna circa un gol in meno rispetto alla Champions. Si segna meno che ovunque. E allora il tema non è più la qualità offensiva o difensiva, ma l’approccio. Nelle ultime settimane abbiamo visto tanti 0-0 e diversi record negativi: per esempio, il 54% delle partite di questo campionato ha visto almeno una delle due squadre chiudere senza segnare, il dato più alto da quando la Serie A è tornata a 20 squadre (2004/05). Stiamo facendo peggio anche rispetto alle nostre versioni precedenti. Più che un calo fisiologico, sembra proprio una direzione presa. E non è una direzione rassicurante.

Le persone iscritte nel fascicolo d'indagine sono tutte legate al mondo arbitrale e le partite finite nel mirino del pm Maurizio Ascione sono quattro o cinque e non sono di questo campionato +++ (ANSA)
