My husband cut down the tree stump that I have used for the last couple of years as my photo prop. 😡 I just had to purchase something to use instead. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Now to figure out what I have around the house that it can sit on to make it lifted. 🤔 Men. Am I right?

I had to give my formal rejection of one job offer and my acceptance of another. Rejecting the one broke my heart. I really think I would be good at it and enjoy it but the pay just wasn't what I need.

Today is my monthly mandated day off 😁 - orthodontist appointment, touring my new school, then home to work in IEP progress reports. Today is also field day at school but I've had my appointment scheduled for 3 months. Who has field day on a Tuesday anyways? 🤦🏼‍♀️

This was a really rough week but I accepted a new position on Thursday so I ended the week on a positive note and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Rewarded myself with a new hook and yarn. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Home from a whirlwind day. The youngest and I drove to Oklahoma for my niece's graduation party and then my parents took us out to eat before we headed back home. The only picture I took all day. 🤣

@dfteach This is true of most specialist positions, special needs. Art, music, PE, Library, all instructional coaches. We don’t have parents. But at least at my school the students and many others do shower us with appreciation. And I had free food and snacks all week.
