There's nothing like being a customer of a process...to remind oneself how well (or poorly) a process can be designed.
Or the feedback on its performance can get distorted.
Example at the end of a conversation with a call centre:
"How would you rate your interaction with us today on a scale of 1 to 10?"
Well, the person I spoke to was really helpful and friendly and solved my problem. So I'd rate her highly.
For that interaction.
However, she was the fourth person I'd spoken to over two days to get the problem fixed.
And there was no way to provide feedback as such.
Sound familiar to anyone else?
