Let me see if I have this right - Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are running on boosting the child tax credit, federally banning price gouging on food and groceries, expanding affordable housing, helping first-time homebuyers, expanding the Biden administration's landmark $35 price cap on insulin for Medicare recipients to cover insulin for all Americans, not just the elderly, making childcare and eldercare more affordable, paying care workers a livable wage, expanding paid family leave and creating opportunities for the middle class that advance their economic security, stability and dignity… They’re running on building what they call an “opportunity economy”. They want to defend basic principles, like your salary being enough to provide for you and your family with a good quality of life. Like no child having to grow up in poverty. Like feeding the hungry. Like being able to retire with dignity after years of hard work… And Trump and Vance are running on what? Attacking childless women with cats, hurling racist slurs, starving kids, forcing birth, deporting people, banning IVF, destroying public education, mandating religion, making the rich richer and saying America sucks? And Team Tampax-Ear wonders why they’re losing? Are you fucking kidding me?!?
