@ChinaksOfLagos I don't believe she did anything wrong. From the way she phrased it, she has been giving him prior She didn't know things would turn out the way it did, and when it did, she still showed up. It was never about the money. "Don't build your net on someone else's salary"

-A Nigerian lady who refused to send ₦2,000 to her elder brother has shared the h£artbreaking aftermath. "I was 20 years old. First salary: ₦85k. Just about to start my NYSC. I felt like Dangote. My brother texted: “Hi lil sis, send 2k make I chop. I never see food since morning.” I had ₦41k in my account. I was saving for an iPhone 11 because my Android phone screen was broken and I had to use auto-rotate before I could operate it. I replied: “Guy, you dey always bill me. Go find work na, me sef don try. Shey na like this you wan continue dey live? You’re my senior brother o.” Three days later, mum called: “Someone called me and said your brother fainted at the junction and has been taken to the hospital.” Hospital said: Ul#er + exh@ustion + m@laria. Bill: ₦78,000. I paid it in 20 seconds. But I couldn’t send him ₦2k for food three days before. My brother survived. But something di£d. He never asked me for anything again. Not even “how far.” Birthdays?.He posts everyone except me. Christmas? He does everything else but never looks my side. ₦2,000. That was the price of my brother. I bought that iPhone 11 for ₦240k. Posted it. Caption: “God did.” My brother saw it. Never liked it. Never commented. That night I checked our WhatsApp: He deleted my number from his bio. I had money. I lost my blood. ₦2k didn’t break us. Pride did"

@renoomokri Nobody wants to see a naked man but everybody line up and even pay to see a naked woman, maybe to gloat or maybe to just ridicule the point is we eat it up So tell me, if someone takes your market and makes good sales out of it, won't you try to sell it yourself?

@renoomokri Nowadays how many men sing without mentioning women or making inappropriate comment towards women and we eat it up Watch many music most of their female vixens are nearly naked, do you know why? because that is what sells.

If you remove sexiness from many of our female singers and performers, are they really talented? I mean, if a plain person were prefiguring their songs, would you still buy it or pay to watch them perform? It begs the question, are we really appreciating their music or their sex appeal? Angelique Kidjo, for example, is sustained solely by her raw talent. Teni is powered by her musical gifts. Aṣan achieved renown for her vocal prowess and songwriting skills. Who can we say the same about amongst contemporary female performers? Without skimpy dressing and sexually suggestive moves, will they still be stars?

Federal Government has waded into the controversy surrounding singer Simi following the resurfacing of old tweets linked to her time working at her mother’s daycare years ago. The development comes after several Nigerians called for an investigation and possible prosecution over comments the singer allegedly made more than a decade ago. Over the past few days, screenshots of tweets attributed to Simi began circulating online. The posts, reportedly made during her early days on social media, referenced her experiences while working at her mum’s daycare centre. As the posts gained traction, some netizens demanded that relevant authorities step in to examine the matter more closely. Amid the growing conversation, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traf*icking in Persons (NAPTIP) has now responded. In a statement released on Tuesday, February 24, NAPTIP addressed the public concerns. The agency noted that it is committed to investigating credible reports related to alleged misconduct in daycare settings. “Following recent public discussions and concerns raised regarding alleged incidents of child sexual *buse/misconduct in daycare settings in Nigeria, we are committed to thoroughly investigating credible reports,” the statement read. NAPTIP further urged anyone with factual information, direct knowledge, or evidence connected to the viral posts to reach out confidentially. BREAKING NEWS 🤦‍♂️💔🥹🥹🥹 Simi has allegedly been invited by the Nigerian police and NAPTIP to come answer questions of grape after her tweets of a 16 years old boy eating her well prepared noddles and her legs shaking . She has been given 24 hours to come over and answer the questions. If she really gave the boy noddles to eat then it’s pretty wrong . Moral lesson : Be careful with what you post on the internet 🙏❤️🥹

@esegbona_luis There’s a difference between calling out problematic behaviour and turning it into character assassination. Serious issues deserve serious conversations, not gender wars and insults.

Dear Simi; First of all, I desperately want to say e no go better for you, but let's be honest, has it really been good for you? The only thing you have dropped that has been close to a hit, since your entire life as an artist, was Duduke. Asides from that, all your projects have been failures. But, that's by the way. When I saw those horrible tweets about your preference for little boys and how the boy children in your mother's daycare were munching on your avunna, I genuinely thought it was some mischievous twitter banger boy who was behind it, hoping to get at you over your recent stance on grape. Only for me to wake up this morning and see that you acknowledged you wrote them 12 years ago. Not only did you acknowledge it, you defended your actions, saying they were not from perversion. For those of you who are not aware of the gist, these are some of the tweets that Simi tweeted 12 years ago when she was 24: "I wish my husband was 4 years old. My type." "David has a crush on me. He kips comn close; actin lik he wana lock lips n den he puts his head on my lap. Shd I giv him a chance? P.S: Hes 4" "Why this 4yr old boy tryna put hand inside ma sheet??? Ogbeni wash it oh!" Imagine if Davido was the one whose tweets resurfaced like this? The backlash? The cancel culture? You noticed how these tweets were directed at little boys in her care? Now, this same Simi came out a few days ago to beckon men to stop graping women. You remember when Ezra was fingered in his animalistic and pedo tweets? What did he do? He deactivated his Twitter account. What did Simi do? She's defending those tweets, saying she meant it from a place of love. A boy putting his head inside your obough was from a place of Love?😭😭 And that sums the difference between a man and a woman. Men take responsibility for their actions. Women will defend their actions. I would have said Nigerians should cancel Simi, but can you cancel what didn't have a beginning in the first place? God already knew Simi would end up like this, that's why he punished her for 600 years in advance. Moral Lesson: No be me talk am ooh 😂
