We’re supposed to use technology, but lately, it feels like technology is using us. We create, iterate, and ship new tech every day. From the outside, it looks like progress. But I keep wondering: Is our technology really making us better humans, or just better consumers? Not long ago, technology was sold as a way to improve daily life, cleaner water, safer cars, and smarter tools. Today, a lot of what we build seems driven only by one metric: money. That’s why I’m starting a new series of articles: Beyond Dopamine: Human First Tech For 10 weeks, I’ll highlight 10 web3 projects I believe are worth knowing - tools that genuinely help people improve their lives, rather than just hijacking their time or money. Let’s stop shipping tech that exists only for clicks and return to what creating technology was supposed to be about in the first place.
