European airports have urged airlines to prepare contingency plans for a potential complete lack of aviation fuel in the coming weeks. Thousands of flights have already been canceled across the continent amid the escalating crisis. Lufthansa is reportedly considering suspending operations of around 20 aircraft, partly linked to the ongoing war in Iran, which has disrupted flight routes and driven up costs. According to aviation analytics firm Cirium, more than one in every twenty scheduled flights was canceled on Monday. Jet fuel prices have more than doubled in the past year. A year ago, the cost stood at $742 per tonne, it has now surged above $1,710 per tonne. Meanwhile, as Ive posted, The UK is expected to receive its final shipment of aviation fuel from the Middle East this week, with no further deliveries confirmed in the immediate pipeline. Aviation industry analyst Alex Macheras (@AlexInAir) has warned that a serious jet fuel shortage could hit all major European airports within a week. He noted that airports are already informing airlines to prepare for scenarios where “no fuel is available.” London’s Heathrow Airport is expected to be among the hardest hit major hubs in Europe due to fuel supply constraints. The situation is worsened by the UK’s closure last year of an aviation fuel production plant in Scotland.

He has a "right to stop everything that has to do with Spain" 3. He instructed Treasury Secretary Bessent to "cut off all dealings with Spain" 4. The US "can use Spain's bases if we want, just fly in and use it" 5. The US "doesn't want anything to do with Spain" It seems the US has just entered a trade war with Spain.

If you’re building today, your biggest risk is not technical. It’s misidentifying your customer. If you build for the 2021, you will optimize for: virality, incentives, short term liquidity, hype cycles. If you build for the 2026, you will optimize for: distribution, reliability, reporting, and sustainable incentives.

@bitcuners @marketersweb3 te doy dos: teach in public & learn in public, parte de lo que promueven los protocolos de reputación es el engagement y estas dos formas son muy útiles para generar interacción

Most apps fight for our attention. They’re built around infinite feeds, filters, and autoplay. They make our relationship with the media louder, not deeper. Mirokami is built differently. It’s a one-button app inspired by Tamagotchi and a new wave of health-conscious, nostalgia-driven tech. There’s only one thing you can do in Mirokami: tap the camera shutter and take a picture. Your pet only “sees” what you choose to photograph in that moment. If it needs something, you don’t scroll. You look around you and capture real life. Over time, your Mirokami becomes a kind of living diary of your habits, routines, and choices. “Miro” comes from “mirror”. “Kami” from the idea of a small spirit. A tiny spirit that reflects you back to yourself. Most of us have a vague idea of how we live, we rarely see the patterns clearly. When your lifestyle is visible, it becomes easier to question it. Mirokami quietly collects those moments so you can finally see your life as it is and, from there, decide how you want it to be. In a world full of apps that hijack our attention, this one is built to give it back by turning your attention toward your own lifestyle. Want to live more consciously with your phone? iOS: lnkd.in/eSvJU9Mv Android: DM @renato_shira for access.

We’re supposed to use technology, but lately, it feels like technology is using us. We create, iterate, and ship new tech every day. From the outside, it looks like progress. But I keep wondering: Is our technology really making us better humans, or just better consumers? Not long ago, technology was sold as a way to improve daily life, cleaner water, safer cars, and smarter tools. Today, a lot of what we build seems driven only by one metric: money. That’s why I’m starting a new series of articles: Beyond Dopamine: Human First Tech For 10 weeks, I’ll highlight 10 web3 projects I believe are worth knowing - tools that genuinely help people improve their lives, rather than just hijacking their time or money. Let’s stop shipping tech that exists only for clicks and return to what creating technology was supposed to be about in the first place.

talked to a business owner yesterday who paid $12k for a "lead qualification system" it was 4 nodes in n8n. a webhook, an AI node, a filter, and a slack notification. took maybe 45 minutes to build. this is the intelligence gap nobody talks about: businesses don't know what's possible. so they pay premium prices for junior-level work. not because agencies are evil— because clients can't tell the difference between complex and simple. if you understand automation, you're sitting on a goldmine right now. i put together a breakdown of the 7 "expensive" workflows that actually take <2 hours to build. reply "GAP" and i'll send it over. (must be following so i can dm)

We don’t usually do partnership announcements etc at @OctantApp but I need all the marketers and comms folks who call out bad partnership announcements to show me their magnum opus. Show me your greatness in your announcements. Show me your great corp/org/work. Show me what you’re doing crazy amazing (or what you consider right). I want to learn and take notes (fr and not sarcastically)

Ethereum’s future is built on tech that will eventually become boring infrastructure, such as wifi and GPS
Justin Drake@drakefjustin

lowercase snarks Words like laser, scuba, radar began uppercase. LASER — Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation SCUBA — Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus RADAR — RAdio Detection And Ranging When a technology matures and becomes reliable, trusted, commoditised, it earns the lowercase. Lean Ethereum is a bet on snarks, not Succinct Non-interactive ARguments of Knowledge. Post-quantum security. Provable soundness. End-to-end formal verification. Deep cryptanalysis. Real-time proving. zkVM programmability. Simplicity and elegance. All essential for the lowercase. All inevitable. Ethereum L1 has 10y uptime and $1T secured with hashes and signatures, our cryptographic workhorses. I believe in 100y uptime and $1Q secured with snarks, our cryptographic jet engines. * L1 scale — 10K TPS gigagas scale with real-time zkEVMs * L1 security — post-quantum security with snarked signatures * L1 privacy — Zcash-grade stealth with wormholes (eg EIP-7503) Shipping snarks is a cryptographic Manhattan Project, one the EF is investing tens of millions into: * verified-zkevm[.]org — formal verification * poseidon-initiative[.]info — deep cryptanalysis * ethproofs[.]org — real-time proving * proximityprize[.]org — provable soundness * zkevm.ethereum[.]foundation — enshrinement * pse[.]dev — privacy Step by step, the EF is evolving into a snark-first org: * cryptography team — driving soundness and cryptanalysis * snarkification team — driving formal verification * zkEVM team — driving protocol integration * Ethproofs team — driving real-time proving * PSE team — driving privacy * PQ consensus team — soon™ Believe in something magical. Believe in lowercase snarks.

As much as people like to shit on EF, I don't see nearly enough appreciation for the insane amount of work the team has put in throughout the year. Let’s go through some of these to remind some folks: 1. Protocol / Research ➤ Shipped two major upgrades, Pectra and Fusaka. 󠁯➤ Major progress on Verkle Trees, pushing Ethereum closer to a stateless future with lighter, easier-to-run nodes. 2. Privacy(PSE) ➤ Launch of @leanEthereum, the cleanest attempt yet at a minimal, privacy-preserving Ethereum client. ➤ Significant improvements in ZK proving efficiency and new privacy primitives shipped: private voting, private attestations, and ongoing work on private mempools. 3. Ecosystem Development (EcoDev) ➤ Officially established the EcoDev division, now 37 people working across founder support, enterprise acceleration, grant management and many other teams. ➤ Provided high-touch support to hundreds of startups across infra, L2s, tooling, DeFi, gaming, social, and AI-crypto. ➤ Launched Founders Lab, Mentor network and many other initiatives. ➤ Launched multiple hubs in London, Berlin and soon the Middle East. ➤ Started a dedicated Enterprise / Institutions team engaging with the largest global organizations adopting Ethereum. 4. L2s / Appchains: ➤ Onboarded and supported major L2 moves like @Celo @JovayNetwork @Ronin_Network and more to come. ➤ The @Lighter_xyz stress tests showed Ethereum’s strength as a base layer, where diverse appchains can experiment with throughput without compromising decentralization or settlement. 5. Community & Events ➤ Ran the biggest @EFDevcon ever in Argentina with record-breaking attendance and ticket sellouts, and closed the conference with the announcement of @ethmumbai. And many many more.....
