Congrats to the 25 students sponsored by DHA's TORCH program who graduated from Stewart Health Care Training Academy in Greenwood last month! TORCH helps connect residents in its 12-county service area with training opportunities in the health care industry.

We're looking back on the Indianola Resource & Referral Center's very first Trunk or Treat a couple weeks ago! Kids and their families enjoyed collecting candy from the numerous community organizations that made this event such a success. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Career Navigators with DHA's WORC program recently helped students explore good job opportunities at North Panola High School's career fair! WORC prepares displaced workers, new entrants, and incumbent workers for good jobs in high-demand industries.

DHA offices and facilities will be closed tomorrow, November 10, in honor of Veterans Day. Thank you to all the veterans on our team, in our communities, and across the country for your courage and sacrifice!

Mentors and mentees in DHA's C.A.R.E.S. program at Leflore Elementary enjoyed their recent visit together! Mentors are asked to visit with a 1st or 2nd grader for an hour each week, four times per month, helping to support their academic success and personal development.

Thanks to Mississippi Valley State University for hosting an inspiring Educator's Rising Conference! DHA's Leflore Promise Community team set up a booth to showcase the pipeline of programs and resources we offer in Leflore County.

DHA cut the ribbon on its 5th Resource & Referral site this week! We were proud to join our partners in Belzoni to open up this facility to the community. DHA's R&R Centers provide easy access to books, toys, and other educational materials for communities.

The CARES Mentoring program at Davis Elementary School had a great time at its mentor-mentee event! CARES mentors give an hour of their time every week to first or second-graders at Davis Elementary, helping to support their academic success and personal development.

DHA's Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) had an incredible opportunity to speak to students and their fathers at the Pizza with Pops event at Greenwood High School! We shared valuable insights about the program and its benefits with GLCSD football players and their dads.

Mississippi RIVER 2 had a great time in Swifton, where team members connected with community members and shared some practical tips to help folks better manage their health. Good health starts young, and we were happy to teach that to some of the youngest community members.
