Every decision I make - I ask myself “Was I better for children today”

Spring break is coming. For some students it is a time for play, sleeping in, and relaxing. For other students, it is a very difficult time--disengagement from friends and hungry because school meals are gone. Many schools are finding ways to help feed sts over vacation.

Celebrate Friday and the coming weekend, not because you don't have to see your students for a while, but because you have used all you energy, caring, and support to help them grow and learn.

Positive school cultures have traditions on the last day before spring break--traditions that celebrate the hard work, deep teaching, and learning that has gone on so far. Celebrate meaning and accomplishment.
