I love all you guys, and I’m a “nice guy,” but that doesn’t mean lacking in intensity. I’m down to address the elephant in the room with anyone, anywhere, at anytime. If you think there’s something I’m missing, if you think there’s something that would work better for me, that I don’t know about, you need to explain it to me very slowly, very clearly, you need to be very specific, and then you need to show me. I’m one of, if not the most open person I’ve ever met, to having long - potentially extremely - uncomfortable conversations, especially face to face. That’s an energy workout for me. I love it. I’ll sit and talk with you for 8 hours straight, for free. Work, girl, food, I’ll put it all aside to get to the truth. I can feel the love - the love lets itself be known - but I can also feel the defensiveness, the resistance and the misunderstanding, but nobody ever says anything on here. I don’t care what anyone said thousands of years ago. Show me today. Don’t point at someone else, or something else. I want to see how it works for you. Look me in the eyes and show me. With your life, with your energy. No talking and typing on here. Be that in real life, day after day, week after week, year after year. You can live in make believe on social media, but when it comes to existential truths, you have to show me. I don’t care what your favorite stories are, I don’t care what helps you fall asleep at night. I want to know what happened to you. That’s the only thing that’s true. I don’t care how many people are saying and retweeting the same catch phrases, one liners, and slogans, or posting the same memes and vague affirmations. I see the words on the screen. I want to see it in you. I’ll even settle for you showing me someone other than you, as long it’s working for them. Show me how good it’s working, and I’ll do it too, joyfully, I’m always happy to find a better way. It has to work though. For life. There are many great things in the world, many great things that people love very much, that don’t work. There’s plenty of people who will do things that don’t work with you. I’m not interested in things that don’t work, no matter how “great” they are. I’m only interested in things that work. That why I follow @SadhguruJV and not any of you, no offense lol. “Don’t follow me Sherard, follow this guy, follow that book.” Great, I will, when I see it working for you. And money, cars, girls aren’t proof. “Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” - My dawg Matthew

Direct union with the gods (Theurgy) is a grace outside of philosophy; it does not rely on intellectual understanding. Otherwise would assume divine acts are somehow made fruitful by our intellection - when in reality, any practitioner knows that they often bypass our understanding. As Iamblichus said, “They are more undefiled than knowledge, and too transcendent to be divided.”

“Bypassing thought, gods can touch the soul directly. If the Power of a deity did require being processed by standard means, their activity would be greatly limited by human capability. Instead, the human leaves naturality of their ways, taking on what can only be called divine-action.” - The Book of Hermes Wheel

Synthemata are the Key to Divine Union: In De Mysteriis, Iamblichus strips this of any haze by saying, "the perfect efficacy of ineffable works are divinely performed in a way surpassing all intelligence, and the power of inexplicable symbols which are known only to the Gods, impart theurgic union. [...] For when we do not energize intellectually, the synthemata themselves perform by themselves their proper work, and the ineffable power of the gods itself knows, by itself, its own images." If, without our intellection, the ineffable power of a god knows its own image, by its own divine mind - and therefore the god governs the power of the synthemata... ...then on our end, we have very little; The god is the main cause. At the same time, as Thomas Taylor highlights by translating one of Iamblichus' words as "con-causes": The cause is divine, but our engagement requires an acceptability. I would push this ever further by saying, "On our end, we have Space & Integration. Space is: how perfect is the transmission of the divine? Integration is: how perfectly was that woven into one's microcosmic body? These are not con-causes but the only causes outside of the god. The theurgist draws near, and by divine-action, seeds of macrocosmic perfection are sown in the practitioner, which bloom in to the microcosm." - cxvii. THE ART IN PRACTICE, pg. 218, The Book of Hermes Wheel My point being, "[Theurgy acts] through the practitioners existence, not by it – [meaning] practically it is most-necessary to free Space for the god’s synthemeta to act, [as] '...it is requisite to consider these, and all the best dispositions of the soul...' - pg. 198, The Book of Hermes Wheel (see photos below)

“[Humans] only `[know]` God by getting to this Silence, in which naught but the creative words of true Power are heard. They then no longer conceive formal ideas in their mind, but utter living ideas in all acts—thoughts, words, and deeds.” - Chaldæan Oracles, GRS Mead In Chaldean and Neoplatonic Theurgy, there exists the notion of the synthemata. These are symbols from nature or art that radiate the power of the divine, up to and including the Transcendent Fire itself. From nature, these synthema can include feathers, rocks, shells, leaves. If you’ve ever had a Native American friend you may noticed they have a medicine pouch. This very sacred, personal item radiates “magic” or the power of the divine as it manifests itself to the carrier. Medicine pouches can contain items like those I described and perhaps man-made items meaningful and sacred to the person. According to historian, Sara Iles-Johnston, theurgists take the symbols and synthema that the paternal Intellect of the Chaldean mythos distributes throughout the created world and rearrange them into meaningful configurations. You can create these configurations over and over. This shows that reality is not static in Platonic cosmology but also less fluid than where an underlying chaos is assumed. In their rites, theurgists line up the synthemata and align themselves with the meaning of the artifacts, allowing them to prepare their soul for personal interaction with the divine. The notion of the pure token comes from the Chaldean Oracles: "Arrayed from head to toe with a clamorous light, armed in mind and soul with a triple-barbed strength, you must cast into your imagination the entire token of the triad, and not go toward the empyrean channels in a scattered way, but with concentration." - fragment 2 And: "But the Transcendent Intellect does not receive the will of (the soul) until (the soul) emerges from forgetfulness and speaks a word, remembering the pure, paternal token." - fragment 109 The pure token - or synthema - is revealed by the holy Iynges, messengers emanated directly from the Transcendent Fire. They speak to us in numerous ways, often in prayer and dreams. In my effort to spread the word about Chaldean Theurgy I use art along with personal sayings as synthema. The image and quote at the top of this post give you an idea of how I use them in my writings in spreading the word about Theurgy.

@ulfketill Far beyond the start - at a new beginning - this book makes it easy to attain direct theurgic union. Not just with Hermes, but with All gods via Hermes’ Mediation. It is certainly not a beginner’s book. But it’s a great book for beginning this path of attainment.

Did anyone else read Gregory Shaws writing, then proceed to STARVE for a theurgic praxis? I remember I used to think henosis is some distant thing - existing only through a tradition which has been corroded by time. I was wrong.

In an Angelic communication with Raphael, I asked "How may God be known to all beings?" Raphael's response was: "He is. He cannot not be. He is in all things and is all things. He is forever loved into eternity. No mind can comprehend his grace."

…I call it Hermes’ deck of choice haha, or the Golden Renaissance deck. Neither of those are the usual names though hah. It’s one of the earliest Tarot decks, but the original deck is highly fragmented - so the scholarship aspect focuses on reconstructing what the deck likely look like based on other decks from the region and timeframe. The age of the deck is really what got it in my hands. But recently with Hermes’ liking He took to the deck, it’s become quite personal & involved in my practice!

Fascinating history of the Tarot’s origins in the Renaissance and Neoplatonism. I used the cards during my recent celebration of Shavuat to explain the marriage of the divine and Shekhinah. The reading is a fascinating if troubling picture of the present spiritual state of the world. I am still processing the results and I hope to publish them soon.

Almost all the bigger “spiritual,” esoteric, accounts on here - especially anonymous ones - are pure ego, worshipping themselves, and whoever helps them get some money, and attention. The coolest people I’ve met on here are completely “regular” people. The mutuals I talk to the most have very little in common. They’re all ages, all races, all backgrounds, all religions, all around the world, and they’re all real. They’re either humble, or they’re brutally honest, but always real, and always funny. I say “regular,” but unfortunately that’s rare nowadays. That’s why I always want to meet people in person. You can hide behind your words and anonymous accounts, you can hide from the real on here, but when we’re together in person, there’s no hiding. Energy speaks for itself, and it comes through loud and clear when the screen isn’t in the way. So you’ll either let some air out of that inflated ego, and we’ll have an absolutely splendid time, or you’ll have to get up and walk away, before you end up saying or doing something that’s not very “spiritual,” because you’ve never really tested your energy before. You’ve never sat in an empty room with someone who makes you uncomfortable, just you and them, just to see what comes up inside, and why. When you have nowhere to hide, and nothing to distract yourself and others with, it becomes very apparent what is what, and who is who. You can do this without going to jail too lol. I’m a Scorpio stellium: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, with a Pisces moon. I’m absorbing everything around me. I still very much have an ego, but most of what you feel from me, is from absorbing what’s around me - what’s thrown at me - and throwing it back if I’m not able to transmute it quick enough. When I’m in the presence of Sadhguru, when I’m in a consecrated space, I just melt, the tears just flow, there’s nothing for me to throw back. I’m the one whose ego has to deflate in those situations. The lack of big spiritual accounts on here even mentioning Sadhguru at all tells me all I need to know. You guys really think you’re that huh lol. Feel free to come show me, your posts aren’t going to do it. If there’s something I’m missing, I genuinely want to know. Doors open for anyone, anytime. I’ve got very, very little to hide, and eventually it’ll be nothing, and that’s when it’ll start to be a really fun ride.

Look around… Does it look like most humans know what they’re doing? Answer that seriously. Does it look like we know what we’re doing. The honest answer is: No.

Magic - the ability to engage with the subtle world - may be the brightest light of our world. Then, why must we attempt to force these gifts to *our* wills? Why not listen to them? & unite with their will? Rather than coercing them, by unearned authority, to conform to our narrow minded perspective.
