now that we’ve hopped onto the B2B lane it’s kinda nuts how the hardest part isn’t building the solution, it’s finding the one person who’s been praying for it to exist. and it’s even weirder that they’re probably two handshakes away.

Status update, gang. been forever we're deep in strategy sessions with our mentors and it finally clicked (embarrassing how long this took): even if we onboarded a million users tomorrow, we'd still be fighting an uphill battle. The real problem isn't end users wanting better tools: it's brokerages drowning in tech debt and losing clients to platforms with smoother experiences. Wild how this invalidates months of direct-to-consumer work, but the pivot makes too much sense unfortunately. Our platform isn't for traders anymore. It's FOR brokerages who want to stop bleeding users to Robinhood. terrifying but it feels right + the math is tight #devlogs

I dropped off the grid 'cause we might have made a mistake. Working design with venture studio mentors and we just realized (ngl I feel dumb it took this long): even if a million beginners magically joined MoMoney (trading + investing Duolingo) tomorrow, it still wouldn’t work. The real pain isn’t with learners paying for education: it’s with the brokerages who benefit from fixing user churn and onboarding. Although it's depressing how it invalidates a lot of our work so far, we’re making a crazy pivot that was overdue: no more consumer-first.
