41 year old PGA Professional Ben Kern shot a 3 under par 67, the tied 2nd lowest round of the tournament so far, to comfortably make the cut at the PGA Championship. Ben is the GM of Hickory Hills GC outside Columbus and says he plays “once a week” with the members, playing off a +6 handicap. After playing well at the 2018 PGA Championship, he said he felt like he finally belonged after spending 6 years “chasing it” on mini tours when he left college: “Yeah, it just tells me, it shows me, it proves to myself that I can hang with these guys when I'm playing solid, and it was really nice. I felt good yesterday, didn't put up a good score, but the game's -- I hung my head high yesterday, and I had a goal today and I surpassed it.” He went on to say: “I spent a good amount of time five, six years after college chasing it, Q-School, mini-tours, and then got married and got in the business. Once I did that, I'm pretty happy with it. “I am not one to want to practice all the time, so the week in, week out grind doesn't really appeal to me anymore. So I'm very happy with what I'm doing.” Ben is currently the leader in total birdies for the tournament and no matter what happens this weekend, he will have one awesome story to tell his members back home. PGA Professionals are the lifeblood of the game and it’s awesome to see them performing on one of the biggest stages in the sport alongside the world’s best players. @PGAChampionship

After playing Maketewah, I’ve decided to make a conceited effort to see and play the attached in #ohiogolf since I’ve just about completed my #michigangolf list. The state is really slept on for GCA and has an extremely deep bench. It also has a who’s who of golf course architects (Classic) that worked in the state ~ Raynor, MacKenzie, Ross, Tillinghast, Alison, Campbell, Flynn, Strong, Park Jr, Thompson, etc. and (Modern) ~ Dye, Weiskopf, Nicklaus, etc. I’ve put together a starting list and have charted played (gray), immediate play (yellow) and future play (white). I’ve ranked the courses in projected order which should be taken with a grain of salt since I’ve only played 12/31 and the others were slotted with conjecture. Which courses am I missing? Which courses will surprise or disappoint me? Really want to get to Lakewood, Elyria and Westwood ASAP.

50 AI businesses you could start this weekend. Pick one. Every idea comes with a revenue path, MVP scope, and exact tech stack so you're not guessing what to build or how it makes money. Organized into 5 categories: vertical agents, content tools, data infrastructure, edge AI, and services. Medical billing agents. Construction safety cameras. Prompt injection firewalls. Drone inspectors for solar farms. Each one scoped lean enough to validate in 48 hours with a simple ad or DM campaign. No more staring at tech trends trying to figure out where the money actually lives. Pick the lane that fits your skills and ship the tiniest possible version before your competition finds these ideas. Comment "IDEAS" and I'll DM it to you (must be following)

this OpenClaw agent SELLS roof inspections on autopilot. it watches hail radar 24/7, finds every $1M+ home in the storm path, and mails them a postcard with a satellite shot of their actual roof + a QR to a personalized video pitch by the next day reply "HAIL" + RT and I'll send you the full guide so you can build this too (must be following so I can DM)

Upon purchasing the property, I thought it was extremely important to begin to renovate the entrance and the front desk first because I wanted to set a standard and begin to establish an expectation on where the rest of the property would aesthetically go. We were able to start the landscaping. We still have a bunch of miscellaneous items to clean up in the lobby but guests can see there’s an investment that’s being made to transform the property and the space into something better than what it was before. I care about everything from countertops, vent covers, coffee stands, correct size toilets, towel racks, door handles, item on desk, position of security camera, smell of place, color of signage that will go up, how people are greeted etc etc etc…. We are a long way from being done but I’ll clean up all items that need cleaned up and I’ll be happy to present a product that I can be proud of to guests/tenants. #ChampionsBridge Take pride in all that you do. Everything you own is connected to your reputation. 🎥 @jay_richardson99 appreciate you my man 🫡
