A true joy to direct eps 1 and 2 of THE WAR BETWEEN THE LAND AND THE SEA. Here's a selection of my favourite shots...

These videos also show the INCREDIBLE work the art department led by designer Phil Sims did in transforming what was a disused Boots into Roger Ap Gwilliam's campaign headquarters.

Looking through my old iPhone videos from pre-production, I originally envisioned this as two shots. Here's the first. I didn't think there'd be any way for James to get his camera all the way round the table and back on to Millie. Guess I underestimated him...

This was a fun moment of delicate choreography between cast and crew. When camera / steadicam operator James Chesterton starts his 180 degree camera move around the table, actor @MilesYekinni has to slide backwards in his rolling chair at the perfect moment to let him through.
