Good News Friday: An update on the Abbey Walk Car Park case in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, where four of the 40 auto-inspired sculptural concrete panels by artist Harold Gosney (b.1937) have been saved during the demolition process, and are now seeking an appropriate new home. Yes, the majority of the panels have been lost and there appears to have been slight damage sustained during removal, but we must cheer the positive outcomes where we can.

@lady_valor_07 It’s a plumb bob, if you tie the string around something off the ground, and keep it so the brass part is JUST a smidge higher than the bottom it’ll give you a perfectly “plumb” (or straight) line it’s used in site work and construction projects but nowadays they use lasers
