At the joint UNDP–NAI roundtable on Women's Local Leadership and the Prevention of Election-related violence, H.E. Jakob Linulf, Ambassador of Denmark to Ghana, emphasised the importance of evidence-based policy and strong international partnerships in advancing gender equality and democratic resilience. “Gender inequality is a global concern. Women must participate fully in society — without their equal involvement, sustainable development is not possible. This is about dignity and rights, but also about economic progress and inclusive development across all sectors, from education and health care to climate action and how we define our societies.”
