I had a very serious hand injury when I was seventeen. Severed every tendon, radial artery, and median nerve in my right wrist. I can’t play with a pick very well because of limited feeling. So, I’ve cherry picked through his lessons to learn Travis picking style. At my stage in life I enjoy just following the lessons for my own pleasure. I do believe I would have been devoted more to playing if I had never suffered that injury. I enjoy what I get out of the lessons personally, but I’ll never be able to play at a performance level. I’ve been able to accept that long ago, because I really have no choice.

I was at the Washington Hilton where the White House Correspondents Dinner was held tonight and the attempted assassination of President Trump occurred. There was no magnetometers or metal detectors when I entered the venue. This was a MAJOR security failure.
