On 18/11/25, the @UNHumanRights sent a letter to the Indonesian government criticizing the Draft Criminal Procedure Code 2025 (20 March version) which is considered inconsistent with international human rights standards, particularly regarding civil and political rights.

The audacity of naming only the white researcher while conducting the research in Indonesia with Indonesian researchers. Are you truly one of the “best” universities in the world, or is that just a title you give yourself?

Oxford CHOSE to spotlight only the white male researcher, conveniently ignoring the three Indonesian researchers who were actually there: Septian Andriki, Joko Witono, and Iswandi. It’s 2025, how are you still repeating colonial erasure like it’s acceptable? IT’S NOT!

Watching Zohran’s campaign reminds me of @jokowi’s back in 2014. Both came from ordinary families, went to the streets to meet regular people, supported diversity, & bravely stood up against the bad ones. But I hope Zohran won’t end up like Jokowi who betrayed his people.
