@bethebroadcast @WilliamShortss @CsTominaga It's struck out not stayed. COPA applied to stay the retarded case until Craig's contempt hearing (not identity question). That was granted though Craig ignored the stay and kept amending/filing using AI. Craig was found in contempt. The case was struck and deemed legal nonsense.

Not exactly. The passing-off claim itself was never actually tried on its merits. It was stayed while the court dealt with the identity question in COPA v Wright. That ruling addressed whether Craig Steven Wright proved he was Satoshi Nakamoto — it didn’t decide the underlying passing-off question about whether BTC altered the protocol and continued marketing itself as “Bitcoin.” So the legal theory itself isn’t “dead.” It just hasn’t been adjudicated on the core issue yet. And if the creator of Bitcoin ever becomes undeniable — whether through law, evidence, or math — that question comes roaring back instantly.

Everyone’s watching documentaries trying to “find Satoshi.” Meanwhile, the real fight has been happening in court. This is the passing-off case filed by Craig Steven Wright ( @CsTominaga ) against BTC Core — arguing that BTC altered the original Bitcoin protocol (SegWit, Taproot, etc.) and then continued marketing itself as “Bitcoin.” Estimated damages claimed: £911 BILLION. Let that sink in. The entire point of this case is bigger than personalities. It’s about whether the system described by Satoshi Nakamoto can be altered and still be marketed to the world as the same thing. And here’s the part the documentaries always miss… If the creator of Bitcoin ever becomes undeniable — whether through law, evidence, or math — the passing-off question comes roaring back instantly. Because then the next question becomes unavoidable: Who has been selling something to the world as “Bitcoin” that isn’t? A lot of journalists, influencers, developers, and companies have spent the last decade mocking that possibility. History has a funny way of revisiting receipts. So while Hollywood tries to find Satoshi… Some of us are watching the legal chessboard. 🍿

Oh now I see. He deliberately made the output from Overleaf say Microsoft Word 2011 because he wants us to think that this is how the Bitcoin White Paper was created to say it was made using OpenOffice (even though this has been shown to be impossible). He's still playing his Faketoshi games.

@tuftythecat Hm that's a good point about it being for Mac. That probably explains why I wasn't finding 2011 ones in those examples above. Not sure what that would output.

@dicereed But Microsoft Word 2011 was a version for Mac. Maybe that prints out metadata without the (R) symbol. Are you suggesting he did actually generate the thesis in LaTeX and edited the metadata to make it look like it was created in Word instead? That's really weird.

@tuftythecat Craig does weird shit like that according to his own trial testimony. Trying to make a point nobody cares about.

@tuftythecat Lol kinda weird. I think he maybe faked the Microsoft Word 2011 tags as according to these, it should have a reserved symbol ® after Microsoft. #L4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/open-biz/OpenB… #L3" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/icichainz/fina… And I was able to verify the pdfTeX versions there, and they are appropriate to 2025.

@tuftythecat Good one. How critical could Jack Rogers have been when he was telling his students that Craig is Satoshi (despite obvious fraud), when he met with Calvin (who bragged about funding BSV uni courses around the world), did BSV promotional events at Exeter? x.com/dicereed/statu…
Axe Mitchell@dicereed

@UniofExeter Jack Rogers was a complete stooge promoting BSV and Craig Wright as Satoshi Nakamoto to his unfortunate students at Exeter. (3/5)

Faketoshi's new thesis has been published. It's probably total nonsense but I am wondering what is meant by this bit on page 13 (left image). Equation 3.1 (right image, from p187) doesn't seem to have anything to do with a "contest-success function". 🤔 ore.exeter.ac.uk/articles/thesi…

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr @WilliamShortss already showed you this one, but it's my favourite for this reason. x.com/dicereed/statu…
Axe Mitchell@dicereed

@grantprostone @bsvsimp It's my favourite proof Craig is a fraud (though it sits atop a mountain of proofs). It's undeniably a forgery (which he deployed in court) and it's undeniably authored by Creg thanks to his handwriting being all over it and showing it to this journalist. x.com/dicereed/statu…

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr >The difference between us is simple. I consider all the evidence. I don't believe you do. I don't see you ever appealing to any of it, whereas I do. They're not 'mistakes'. Craig forged documents on a grand scale. He's responsible for his actions.

Myth: Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. Reality: Bitcoin is the anti-Ponzi scheme. Let me stop you right there before you embarrass yourself further. A Ponzi requires a central operator—some guy in a suit promising you 12% while paying old investors with fresh cash from new marks. Bernie Madoff. Charles Ponzi. The playbook is always the same: one person, one lie, one spectacular implosion. Bitcoin has no central authority. No CEO. No board of directors. No emergency Sunday night meetings at the Fed. No bailout clause hidden in the fine print. Value comes from supply and demand—not from a glossy brochure promising guaranteed returns while the printer goes brrr in the back room. Bitcoin is the opposite of a Ponzi. It’s fully transparent. Every transaction, every block, every sat. Auditable by anyone with an internet connection and the will to look. You want a Ponzi? • Look at the fiat system. • Look at Social Security. • Look at your 401(k), where the “guaranteed” returns are funded by monetary debasement and the vague hope that someone dumber than you keeps feeding the machine. Bitcoin is the anti-Ponzi scheme.

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr I also dealt with that argument in this thread. Scroll down to see, but also take a look at the awful calibre of 'evidence' we're talking about here, and Craig's awful excuses after being caught. They are both Craig's handpicked nominated reliance docs. x.com/dicereed/statu…
Axe Mitchell@dicereed

@BHatooor13304 @tuftythecat @Pat_McCat Not just metadata. Contents. It can randomly merge unrelated Microsoft Word documents together and result in a perfectly functional document! This has to be the stupidest excuse Craig offered for his reliance document being clearly forged. If anyone believes this they are thick!

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr Nonsense. The idea that live oral cross exam be paused every five mins, and pivot to live testing on software stacks done in open court because Craig blurts out some technobabble excuse for forgery live, and claims some 'private testing' he personally did at home confirms him.

@MiCA_Alliance @BSVAssociation When push came to shove, here was Craig's evidence of owership. Nothing but pathetic forgeries as usual. But the BSV Association, ever willing to help Craig further his crimes and narratives, gladly granted themselves central admin access. And they still worship him to this day.

@MiCA_Alliance @BSVAssociation Craig caused that because he decided he wanted to have a go at stealing coins right from the blockchain by bringing ruinous lawsuits against individual developer defendants, demanding backdoor access be put in to accomodate his 'property rights' to coins that he never owned.

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr It was a "put up or shut up" case. And Craig said he was more than happy to put up, but of course he was just putting up a confident front. Craig couldn't actually put up because he's always been faking being Satoshi. He had nothing but forgeries (500 of them in that case alone).

@ConorBy30855041 @WilliamShortss @theswansjr He also sent a legal threat "Letter Before Action" to Square, demanding that they take down the whitepaper or face a lawsuit. That is what gave COPA (Square being a member of COPA) the right to bring their lawsuit against him. They had no case to bring without Craig doing that.
