@pkerga22 Nope, sorry. I already heard that it does not work, but I do not have a Switch 2 and unless there is some info which modes it supports I can only guess that it does not like the slightly unusual resolution.

Me working on the GB Pixel Art Jam 2024 cart for the past few months thinking, “man I wish there was an easier way to do this…”

The “there oughta be” (@diconx) pipeline. This was 8 days.

My Game Boy slideshow generator is almost complete. Just drag and drop some images into it and download a ROM for your Game Boys without installing anything. It runs locally in any modern browser. Give me a few days to wrap it up and make a little YT video. #gameboy #retrogaming

@diconx @pitto There are probably better ways to encode static images, but no generic encoder publicly exists. GBVP2’s encoder is a good starting point for palette generation, etc.

@pitto Thanks, GB Studio is great. Was just wondering if there was a really simple solution just for slideshows on Game Boys that are on display. With the little tricks required for full resolution images - maybe similar to GBVideoPlayer2, but for images.
