Shout out to the girl working in Subway Northside Shopping Centre today. On her own and absolutely lashed out about 15 different subs in about 5 minutes and didn’t have to ask anyone again about what they wanted. I genuinely stood there in amazement. That’s a sandwich artist.

Back in 2002 whilst we were filming Bo’selecta a lovely man called Ozzy (a real person) that worked downstairs from the flat we filmed in came upstairs to see what we were doing. He was so lovely and funny and we all got on with him straight away. I’m not quite sure he knew what it was we were doing but we all laughed a lot. So he became part of the show! Most of the conversations I had with him I was in character as Avid. But we had fun times! I’d not seen him for years until this year I bumped into his son in the street who was now an adult. I was on tour at the time so I invited them both to the show at the palladium. It was so lovely to catch up and chat about old times. But today unfortunately I’ve Just heard the sad news that lovely Ozzy from down stairs has passed away. Sending love and magical powers to his family. RIP Ozzy from downstairs xxxx

I woke from a dream about 10 years ago about seeing Hall & Oates perform in a small sweaty concert hall and when the initial synth of ‘You Make My Dreams Come True’ kicked in, the place erupted like it was a death core gig. There was walls of death and people flying everywhere.
