🚨NEW LAWSUIT🚨A major law firm has filed a lawsuit against Nicki Minaj (Onika Maraj) and her company Harajuku Barbie Music, LLC, alleging over $229,000 in unpaid legal fees tied to prior federal litigation. The law firm GRSM claims it entered into a Legal Services Agreement on October 2, 2024 to represent Nicki Minaj and her company in a federal case: 👉🏾 Julius Johnson v. Onika Tanya Maraj, et al. (U.S. District Court) According to the complaint, GRSM performed all requested legal services, and those services were accepted without dispute by the defendants. The agreement required: • Monthly billing • Payment due upon receipt • Late charges after 45 days (up to 1% per month) • Recovery of attorney’s fees and costs if collection action is required The firm also billed at rates including: • Senior Partner: $650/hr • Partner/Counsel: $600/hr • Associate: $425/hr • Paraprofessional: $225/hr IMPORTANT DETAIL: SIGNED AGREEMENT ISSUE Emails attached to the filing suggest: • The firm requested a signed agreement • Representation began while the agreement was still being finalized • One communication states Minaj was “on tour” while documents were pending Despite this, the firm continued providing services under the understanding the terms were accepted.
