@NathanAClark there's something really weird going on with recruitment then. Here you have a manager who likes to play the back, and you get him a CB who is suspect on the ball. His attacking style also puts wingers in lots of 1v1 situations - then you give him Johnson and Werner. Wtf

this was probably my favourite read of 2024. an almost unbelievable story - a tragedy, to be sure, but told with empathy and appropriate context all along, it also served as a reminder of how little I (and most fellow southerners I know) actually know about this part of Brazil
