Hi everyone! On this account you can find me venting about my ed, discussing food, calories, fasting, steps, b/p. Tw for weight &numbers, some mentions of sh. I mostly high restrict &maintain with a focus on harm reduction. I don't post bodychecks or interact with thinspo.

Are important to process traumatic circumstances and all of my feelings are only eating disorder related, even as much as i try to be present and helpful. Im just im in a bubble world where its like nothing is even real or happening

I've been really struggling with seasonal depression and apathy. My Grandfather is in the hospital and may pass away soon but I still can't make my feelings turn on button work. I can't even feel guilty about not feeling sad or guilty. I know guilt won't help, but feelings

In case anyone was wondering, hospitals probably won't stop you from bringing dumbbells in.

@_aevly Thank you for validating that the situation is not as wreckless as it might initially seam but i would still put them away if we had little kids around. Kids can surprise you what they are capable of getting into, and even chew on things.

@diet_pop u having to clarify ab the needles is crazy bcs they’re so small it’s like less than a splinter and u rlly can’t get to the actual needle unless u twist the cap off which u need the leverage of the pen to do😭😭

One night my mom was sleeping on the couch so I took my ninja creami to the basement to run it & nvr bought it back up. So now the basement has a backup refrigerator filled with mostly my safefood, bone density drugs, needles on the counter right next to the fridge, & the creami

@skinniclo2 Thank you for validating that it's important to do things our way to make our lives as easy & accessible as possible. Keeping the ninja creami in the basement is ironic though bc i'm going up & down the stairs more just to run it. Always inviting u over for an ice cream party

All of my increased exercise has been strength training &wearing a weighted vest, on top of my usual compulsive step counts & going up & down the stairs. I was wondering why my appetite hasnt increased and i came across this theory for how wearing a weighted vest lowers appetite

My brain definitely thinks that its acceptable to have increased my exercise though.

So its another month of being comfortable doing the injections. Taking it one month at a time. Reminding myself that i'm not failing at my ed for not lowering my calories, it's just that the whole point of starting this medication was not that I should start eating less.

I am slightly convinced that my bone density medication has lowered my metabolism bc i'm doing too much extra exercise but not seeing weight loss. And i'm convinced that if I hadnt increased my exercise i would be seeing weight gain. But for now i have a system thats working.

I got too behind on updating this thread and now i've decided i'm only going to post monthly updates for my weekly calories, together with my weekly fitbit emails and monthly screenshots for my steps and stairs. This is what is missing for the rest of january.

Obvs I don't think that kids w eds should have full autonomy and be left alone to go die in a forest somewhere and starve to death but pediatric eating disorder care is honestly traumatizing for the whole family. At times not even my parents had a full say which hurt us all

But back to my mom, no one would say, let's force feed people cholesterol medication, that won't work, it wont make her trust anyone &if u have a relative struggling with their health &trusting the medical system i promise this is the best way to empower them to make good choices

My mom has been going through some health stuff, & the only way to get her to trust taking her medication is by me telling her "you are an adult, its your decision". I stole this mantra from my surgeon that did my masectomy & when she told me this it literally almost made me cry
