@NextGenNero I bought Saros and Pragmata after two months of not buying anything since Crimson Desert. But I think we are severely underestimating the amount of disposable cash people have for a TPS that’s not a household name. Game economy is tricky rn. Game is awesome!

@__RiseAgain__ it's not an upscale, 35mm (typically) is still higher "resolution" than 4k. usually the 4k will be closer to the original but Cameron is a freak for not just scanning the 35mm but doing a ton of shit to it in computer

@__RiseAgain__ Don’t even look at the terminator 2 4k remaster. I bought it on iTunes because I saw it was 4k with Dolby vision/atmos. It looked almost as bad as the Aliens remaster. The DNR is pumped up to the max. I like Cameron but idk the issue. Many scenes are so bad it’s distracting

There’s a parallel universe where The Wiz is a film that every last person in America has seen. Diana Ross & Michael Jackson are so damn good in this film, I don’t even have the words. That’s all without mentioning that my guy Sidney Lumet directed this movie. The Wiz is amazing.

@stolinski I'm starting to think I want to do a focused ai editor/extension.
As in, you still basically code manually, you just dictate what you want the AI to write. E.g. you say "wrap this with flex col with gap 4".
This way you can use cheap fast models too, basically zero thinking

Vibe coded something today and have been endlessly more frustrated. Codex spinning up endless dev processes, ignoring specific instructions just writing shitty code in general.

This is the anti-intellectualism I was talking about because it’s not true for virtually any of the physical sciences. Yes sometimes you have to learn complex concepts in order to understand complex phenomena and sometimes this isn’t expressible in colloquial language!
