Everyone talking about how Mary was the only one who went looking for Clark when he went missing but I dont think that her decision had anything to do with him in specific. I feel like Mary was only using her clients and profession as a way to do what she never was able to do with her mother. Clark just happened to be another one of these clients. #backrooms

I feel like there's levels to this photo I haven't even fathomed
lexi@taivannat
why would he do this
English

Probably just being figurative, whats pivotal though is that she also wanted to open the window
Tayo💕@aderayo_xo1
What window was Clark talking about??

In the latter set, two of those roles require proficiency in distinct ways of manipulating behavior, which has a lot of value in a service-consumptive economy; the AI guy has high-level math proficiency valuable in finance and computing, where there's higher ceilings than baking.

Why is it that actual human jobs like baker, florist, teacher, and childcare worker barely pay a livable wage, while fake jobs like Al specialist bootlicker, marketing campaign parasite, and synergy consultant are pulling six figures?

At least two of these movies subvert this framing by also implicating the ostensible 'poor woman'

@ElsienotElisee Real ones know thd book of Judges is where it’s at

@AjaxBrumalis @thevyrovisuals This is the entire problem. Otto knows that Rhaenyra knows her sons are bastards and everyone else suspects it (in the show its self-evident, even worse).
English

@thevyrovisuals He was a bastard, and all of their children would have been illegitimate.
English

Rhaenyra literally handed her the perfect strategic victory on a silver platter in Season 1, Episode 6, and Alicent let her pride ruin it.
When Rhaenyra proposed marrying Jacaerys to Helaena, it was the ultimate compromise. If Alicent had accepted:
It would have united the two rival factions of House Targaryen.
Her daughter Helaena would have been the future Queen Consort.
It would have completely dismantled Otto's primary argument that Rhaenyra would execute Alicent’s children to secure her throne, as she wouldn't execute the mother of her own grandchildren.
Instead, Alicent let her resentment over Jace’s parentage cloud her judgment, locked her children into isolated incestuous matches, and set the stage for their mutual destruction.

Would Alicent's political strategy have been more successful if she had prioritized a marriage alliance between their children much earlier?

@Kieran10x Or, you know, you just poison Rhaenyra on Dragonstone with tears of Lys or something
English

@Kieran10x You send the boys and their dragons to ward in Essos in exchange for future trade terms and dragon poker chips; build relationships with the mercenary companies. They stay there until Viserys passes, then you bring a pro-Aegon army from the West and Dragon army from the East.

“Are you ready for your cinematography lessons?”
Steven Spielberg shuddered.
Quentin Tarantino gulped.
Martin Scorsese quivered.
“Yes House of Commons Camera Operator,” they said in unison.
Owen Arands@OwenArandz
Accidentally the most dramatic camera work ever seen in the commons just now...

@313walttries @Schaffrillas Holland never even been in that conversation. Maybe he’ll have a run like Tom Hanks did in his 30s but he’s got a lot of catching up to do, doesn’t even have a deep character performance like Pattinson in The Rover

@Phantom52971031 @erickstevens82 Thrag/Empire can’t be everything

@bliterswrock @NebsGoodTakes I see the idea but by First Class isn’t Wolverine already like 60 looking 30?
English

@NebsGoodTakes I'm not personally but HE'D BE A REALLY GOOD WOLVERINE INSTEAD

@NebsGoodTakes If his dad was here they wouldn’t be saying this lol
