Immediate action is required to prevent such incidents in the future. Ghaziabad Heritage Run was nothing short of a complete disaster and a blatant fraud on runners. No medals, no water, no refreshments basic facilities were completely missing. This is not mismanagement, this is sheer negligence and cheating. Participants registered back in February by paying ₹800. After completing a grueling 21 km run, are we not even entitled to a medal? Where did the money go? The situation became worse when the finish line mat was removed before 2:30 hours while runners were still on the course. This is absolutely unacceptable and shows zero professionalism. It clearly proves the organizers had no intention of properly conducting the event. To top it all, the organizers disappeared towards the end, abandoning participants without any support. Due to lack of water and basic arrangements, several runners suffered and some even got injured. Who takes responsibility for this? Shockingly, international runners were invited to this event, and in front of them such pathetic mismanagement has brought embarrassment to our country. This is a disgrace. This event was a complete waste of money, time, and effort. Strict action must be taken against the organizers for such irresponsible and unethical conduct.

Back to from where it all Began 🇮🇳🥰 Crossed UPSC Dholpur House , Shahjahan road during my morning run today, and it brought back a flood of memories. 🏃‍♀️💕 This is the place where I appeared for my Civil services Mains Examination 2007 & interview in 2008. Also missed my Papa who used to accompany me during my UPSC exams to the examination centre as my support. 😔🧡 Standing here again feels both humbling and deeply nostalgic. When most people plan a holiday in India, the usual suspects come up: Goa, Himachal, Rajasthan. Jharkhand rarely features in that conversation. I plead guilty of that too. And then I bumped into these striking photos posted by @IndiaAesthetica about Meghahatuburu, a hill station in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, renowned as the "Hill of Clouds" due to its high altitude. Sitting 4,300 feet above sea level in the heart of the Saranda forest of 700 hills, it offers a sunset point, forest waterfalls, and a landscape that has remained largely untouched. Bare-bones tourist infrastructure. Very few resorts, many guesthouses. I did some more checking about Jharkhand and found it has Netarhat’s famous sunrises, Betla National Park, the sacred Jyotirlinga at Deoghar, the waterfalls around Ranchi, and the ancient Saranda forest itself. Somehow, it still gets overlooked. Jharkhand has much to offer the discerning traveller. It simply hasn’t shouted about it.
