i always find myself somewhat alien to different trans groups; too “edgy” for the tenderqueers but too anti-essentialist for the tranners. it’s funny when i can tell someone’s followed me off one tweet assuming i’m from one camp & unfollowed after realizing i’m not lol.

this is the kind of presentation that gets you denied HRT, legal gender recognition & assaulted if you step outside. genuinely what are we doing here? why have a cohort of binary trans women convinced themselves queer counter moralities are more dominant than patriarchal ones?

nothing wrong with them existing and presenting as they choose. the transmisogyny is that this kind of presentation is expected and demanded of binary trans women due to oppositional sexism - the idea that a trans woman can live as a woman is anathema.
