How to come up with ad creatives? /case study/ --- 1. Define: - campaign goals - your offer - content (landing pages, interactive demos, reports..) --- 2. Write down: - ICP/buyer personas - the main problem - pain points - features - capabilities - benefits - use cases --- 3. Choose your ad angle: - problem-solution - feature overview - benefit first - use case - case study... --- 4. Create a mood board: - ads that performed well in the past - ads from your swipe file - ads from Adfolio's library ( adfolio.design ) - other marketing/design resources for inspo --- 5. Utilize creative thinking techniques to come up with copy and design ideas: - brainstorming (for quick idea gathering) - reframing (to interpret a concept in different ways) - mind mapping (to organize your thoughts and develop concepts)... --- 6. Create the ad structure: - prepare the copy - create lo-fi designs --- 7. Go from lo-fi to high-fi --- This is exactly what we helped OptiMonk with. Is Webflow enough for your needs? Webflow is great for content editing with a short learning curve even for less tech-savvy users. However, when it comes to building complex, out-of-the-ordinary features, Webflow has its limits. Understandably. The bright side is that you can always combine it with custom code. That's exactly what we did in the video below, for Startrampe's website. The overall design + animations were quite the challenge. The complex parts were the slopes in the design, tilted text, custom sliders and smooth animations with a coherent style. All solved with custom code. Now their team has the content editing flexibility of the Webflow CMS and an extraordinary web design that was only possible through custom development.

We've been running this campaign since April. The conversion rate so far is 2,3% (click-to-opportunity rate). So 2,3% of all ad clicks turn to sales opportunities. It's a high-ticket service with high CLV, so these numbers work in our favor. Ad creative 1:
