Disappointed to see this, shared by my M.P acknowledging that there are legitimate concerns about safeguards but voting for the bill anyway.
You’re supposed to be one of those safeguards @connor_naismith. We don’t legislate for individuals, where choice exists in a vacuum.

Nobody wants people to suffer unimaginable pain & suffering. But in the name of love we can’t usher in a law which enshrines some lives as being worth less than others. The binary framing of this isn’t helpful to the discussion.

I’m not baffled by the classism. That’s to be expected. I’m confused that a trouser suit is apparently a marker of working classness. I speak as someone with an extensive collection of colourful trouser/short suits. I thought I was being quite stylish and fancy 😆😂
