The Cowboys fell to Rockwall in Saturday’s non-district matchup, 4-2. Zander Montgomery (@_ZanderM07 ) gave the Cowboys another strong start on the mound, with a complete game (6 innings) effort striking out 5 and not allowing an earned run. Cason Broom (@Cason_Broom ) knocked in both Cowboys runs in the 3rd inning, with a single scoring Dillon Slaton (@dillon_slaton ) and Jackson Floren (@jacksonfloren9 ), who each had hits on the day. Up next for the Cowboys will be a district series with Lewisville. Both games will start at 7 PM, with Tuesday night’s game at Lewisville and Friday night at Cowboy Field.
